Before the Effective Personal Productivity program (EPP) I would often times come into work without a definite plan. I would wait until I felt like doing something which was usually, just before it became an emergency. I've lived in this world of procrastination most of my adult life. I've always been able to more or less show up and have things work out reasonably well.

Throughout EPP I have learned that there' is a better way. I have been challenged to write down goals that revolve around my high payoff activities. I now plan daily which has done more good for my real estate business and my personal life than I could have possibly hoped for. My stress level is way down. I've shared my goals with my family they have been very supportive and there have been far fewer arguments and hurt feelings. I've accomplished more in less time. My sales are up 55% over 2010 and I have spent more time with my wife and kids this year.

Moving forward I am going to stay accountable through a peer group. I recognize that I have been doing it wrong for a lot longer than I've been doing it right. I am going to continue to share my weekly/monthly goal with my mentor and my family. As we enter into the winter months and real estate settles down a little, I am going to focus on my Master list of goals. In 2012 I'm going to increase my sales by another 25%. In 2013 I'm going to enlist an assistant and a buyer's agent so I can spend more of my time in the areas of real estate I most enjoy and most importantly, more quality time with my family.
